David Kwapinski, age 76, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2024. Loving husband, brother, brother in law, father and grandfather will be missed by  his entire family and friends.

David was a caring, fun person, a true lover of animals and the outdoors. He  loved socializing with friends, and spending time with his family. David was a kind and caring person, always willing to listen and lend a shoulder to cry on. He had an infectious laugh that filled the room, complemented by his radiant blue eyes, but  what captured all of our hearts was his  ability to connect to others.

David will be remembered for his  laugh, hospitality, culinary skills, commitment to family, friends, and for his  love of life. He  was a wonderful  person and will be missed by those that had the privilege of knowing him.

He  always knew how to put a smile on your face. His  bright light and nurturing soul will be missed. While we are all suffering in our own ways today, David wants us not to focus on the pain but for the lifetime of sweet, fun memories we all made with him throughout all of his life.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM  at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, Illinois. A funeral service will occur on Friday July 26, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at St. John Brebeuf Church 8307 N. Harlem Avenue following a graveside service at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Niles, IL.
