In Loving Memory of Wojciech Mrugała
October 8th, 2026 | Age 76
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Wojciech Mrugała, who passed away on October 8th, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born in Biały Dunajec, Poland, on April 13th, 1950, to Maria and Stanisław Mrugała. Wojciech carried his Polish heritage and traditions with him throughout his life. He was a proud góral, a man whose spirit, humor, and love for his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Wojciech will be remembered for his joyful personality, his laughter, and the special way he brought happiness to those around him with his never‑ending gawędy góralskie. His home was always open, and he welcomed everyone with genuine warmth, whether you were family, a neighbor, or someone he had just met. His famous bigos, shared proudly and generously, brought people together just as much as his stories did. He was a hard‑working man, and he carried that pride with him every day of his life. He was a beloved brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and great‑grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his loving son and daughter in law, Henry and Teresa Mrugała; his granddaughter, Kathy and Paul Morin, along with their children, Brysen and Emmeit; his granddaughter, Angelica and Luke Golgin; and his grandson, Patrick Mrugała and fiance Saige Wilson. Along with his siblings Zofia, Janina, Maria, Anna, Stanisław and Józef. Preceded in death by his parents Maria and Stanisław Mrugała and his sister Aniela Czernik.
Wojciech’s love, laughter, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family. Although he is no longer with us, the traditions he passed down and the love he shared will live on for generations.
Forever loved & forever remembered.
