William C Faehse II, 79, of Niles passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He was born November 10, 1944, in Chicago to William and Gladys Faehse.

William was a Vietnam era veteran, serving as Supply Specialist and Unit Armor at an Army Basic Training Camp in Fort Bliss, Tx.

William, or Bill as he was known to his friends and family, loved motor sports, Coca-Cola, and all things trains.

Bill worked at the USPS in various positions for the past 50 years, telling anyone who asked, "I have no plans to retire."

He is survived by his wife, Judy, and his son, William Faehse III.

Memorial to be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL. Funeral services to be held at a later date.
