Wanda Gorecki age 73, of Chicago passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023. Wanda was born on October 15, 1949 to the late, Chester and Eleanore Gorecki (nee Bulawa).  She was proceeded in death by her beloved sister Donna Cygan (nee Gorecki) in 2013.

Wanda was cherished by friends Teresa and Peter Ciesielski and their children Joanna (nee O'Brien), Anna (nee Pieta), Peter Jr., Michael and Paul and their 9 grandchildren; beloved by Goddaughter Beata (Bea) McDonough (nee Gierszewski); and treasured by many friends and neighbors.  Wanda will be dearly missed.

Funeral Mass services will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10am at St. Monica's Parish at 5136 N. Nottingham Chicago, IL 60656.  Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery, at 8600 N. Milwaukee, Niles, IL 60714.
