It is with both gratitude and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas (Tom) Blickhahn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Thomas passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 following a long illness.

Thomas, 81, the son of the late Lawrence and late Johanna (Lucille) Blickhahn, brother to late Jerome (Estelle) Blickhahn, grew up in Maywood, IL.  He worked at Time-Life Inc. for over two decades. where he met Barbara, his wife of fifty-seven years. He proudly served his country in the 1960s as an MP and later in the United Secret Service.

Tom loved to golf, play puzzles, read mystery novels, and above all, watching his granddaughters play volleyball.  An avid traveler, besides exploring Europe, he managed to visit forty-five of the fifty states.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Mark (Jaymi) and Amy Blickhahn, and grandchildren Faith and Alyson Blickhahn.

Funeral Monday, October 13, 2025 9 at St. Juliana's Church 7201 N. Oketo, Chicago. Visitation from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM. Mass at 10:30 AM. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum.
