Stella M
Cash
Jul 14, 1948 — Oct 10, 2024
Niles
Our beautiful, beloved Stella passed peacefully, surrounded by her daughter and her sister in the early morning hours of October 10, 2024.
She was born on July 14, 1948 in Chicago's Italian "old neighborhood". Stella lived much of her life on the northwest side of Chicago until moving to the suburbs in the late 90's.
Stella was known for her bubbly and social personality, penchant for parties and get-togethers and her deep love of and great talent for cooking—which she learned from her mom. She also loved planting her flowers and garden in the summer and beautifying her home. She loved music and dancing with her favorite being Paul Anka. She worked for Pepsi-Cola for more than 30 years and from where she eventually retired and loved the friendships she made at Pepsi—particularly with Lasha and Sharon—whom she remained close with throughout her life. But, Stella's greatest love was spending time with her daughter, Dena and Stella's twin sister, Angie—always up for going out to eat, to see a show, or to shop together.
Stella was a treasured friend to all who knew her and she will be missed more than words can ever express.
Stella is survived by her husband, James, her beloved daughter, Dena Lozano; her beloved twin sister, Angeline Pannarale; beloved niece, Janet Goering (Scott), and grandniece, Katelyn Goering, along with many other beloved nieces, nephews, countless friends, and her caregiver for the past two years, Colette, who loved Stella, too and for whom we are deeply grateful.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Pannarale; her sister and brother in law, Theresa (née Pannarale) and Michael Yewchyn; her brother, Gaetano Pannarale (Linda, late); and all her beloved puppies, Tammy, Bailey, Daisy and grandpuppy, Olivia. May she have been greeted in heaven by them all.
