Rosemarie Kovarik, nee Legenza, age 97, beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Andrew (Dawn) Kovarik, David Kovarik, and Maggie Scarpaci; dear grandmother of Claire (Jeff) Jerabek, and Andrew, Jr. (Lauren) Kovarik; great-grandmother of Rose and Nicolas; cherished cousin of Thomas (Alice) Henningsen; devoted friend to many. Rosemarie was a past president of the School Board and Women's Club at St. John Brebeuf Parish. She was educated as a chemist who taught Chemistry at Immaculata before going on to do research at Michael Reese Hospital. Rosemarie also was an avid bridge player. There will be a memorial mass at St. John Brebeuf Church 8305 N. Harlem Avenue Niles on Thursday February 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interment private. Funeral info: 847-966-7302.
