Z wielkim smutkiem i żalem informujemy że w dniu 30 czerwca 2025r. odszedł od nas Piotr Meres, kochany syn, brat, ojciec, wujek, i przyjaciel. Syn Danuty i ś.p. Władysława. Brat Ewy (Miroslav), Pawła (Aleksandra), i Moniki (Michael). Ojciec Weroniki i Karoliny. I przyjaciel do wielu.

Mając tylko 43 lata, jego czas z nami był zbyt krotki. Piotr miał dobre serce. Wolał komuś dać, a sam nie mieć, Dla Piotra rzeczy materialne nie były ważne, jak miłość i przyjaźń ludzi wokół siebie. Był chętny pomóż wszystkim, lecz sam o pomoc nie pytał.

Piotr w życiu nie miał łatwo, ale mimo wielkich przeszkód nie zapominał o rodzine. Zawsze pamiętał aby zadzwonić do mamy lub rodzeństwa na pogawędki. Piotr pozostaje w naszych sercach na wieki.

Ostatnie pożegnanie odbędzie się w piątek 11 lipca 2025 r. Od godz 4pm do 8pm w Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave w Niles. W Sobotę kondukt żałobny wyjedzie do Kościoła Św. Konstancji na mszę która odbędzie się o godz 10am. Pochówek na cmentarzu St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave. w Niles.

It is with great sadness and regret that we inform you that on June 30, 2025 Piotr Meres, beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, passed away. Son of Danuta and the late Władysław. Brother of Ewa (Miroslav), Paweł (Aleksandra), and Monika (Michael). Father of Weronika and Karolina. And friend to many.

At only 43 years old, his time with us was too short. Piotr had a good heart. He preferred to give to someone, and not have himself. Material things were not important to Piotr, as was the love and friendship of the people around him. He was willing to help everyone, but he did not ask for help himself.

Piotr did not have it easy in life, but despite great obstacles, he did not forget about his family. He always remembered to call his mother or siblings for a chat. Piotr remains in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave in Niles. Funeral Saturday 9:00 AM to St. Constance Catholic Church for 10:00 AM Mass. Interment  St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Niles.
