Michelle Victoria Gucik, 26, beloved daughter of Monika and Janusz, caring sister of Adam and Pawel(Sarah), loving partner of Cesar, loving granddaughter of Kazimiera Moskala and Janina and Josef Gucik, dear niece of Łukasz (Gosia), Małgosia (Przemek), Andrzej (Bernadetta), Andżelika (Mariusz), cousin of Milenka, Alex, Anthony, Lily, Klaudia (Dominik), Kamil, Patryk, Albert, and Natalia, dear friend and advocate to countless others, passed away suddenly on March 1, 2024.

Michelle graduated from Lewis University with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in 2020 and went on to obtain her master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven in 2021. Michelle built upon her calling to help others through a career in advocacy. She was passionate about her line of work and had strong aspirations to pursue a juris doctorate. In Connecticut, she made countless friends and memories. She dedicated hours to service and philanthropy work, fostering a vast sense of community in her "home away from home".

Michelle was an avid reader, lover of animals, and the outdoors. Michelle's profound love for music began during her childhood when she learned to play the piano. She'd craft curated playlists for both friends and loved ones, a testament to her passion and generosity. She had an infectious laugh that filled the room, complemented by her radiant green eyes, but what captured all of our hearts was her ability to connect to others. Michelle was a kind and caring person, always willing to listen and lend a shoulder to cry on. Michelle will be truly missed for her sense of humor, incredible sense of style, and vibrant presence. She always knew how to put a smile on your face and always knew the right words to say. Her bright light and nurturing soul will be missed.

A visitation will be held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 North Milwaukee Avenue, in Niles, Illinois on Friday, March 8th, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral Saturday March 9th at  12:15 PM to Saint John Brebeuf Parish, 8307 North Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714f or mass at 1:00 PM.
