Michele K. Pizza
(February 2, 1943 – April 30, 2024)

Michele K. Pizza peacefully passed away at the age of 81 in Park Ridge, IL. She is survived by her loving daughter, Catherine (Jimmy) Kohl, and her grandchildren: Jessica (Don) Steffan, Christopher Kohl, Nicholas, Zachary, and Shawn Bolin, Stephanie and Seth Boone,
Jason Pizza, Andrew (Frankie) Schulze, and Matthew and Connor Lehman. Beloved stepmother to Mari Bauer, Geri (James) Bolin, Lisa Boone, Mike (Shari), Donna (Joerg) Schulze, and Erica (Todd). Cherished aunt to Laura, Julie, and Ronnie Burke. Gratefully adopted by Geoff (Monica) Kieres. Adoring great grandmother of 5.

Michele was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael, and her granddaughter, Nicole (Jon) Brodzik.

For close to 30 years Michele took great pride in handcrafting Christmas ornaments for family, friends, and neighbors.  She remembered everyone's birthday and no matter where she was, she always managed to find out the hot gossip to share.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles. The funeral final visit on Monday will be at Skaja 9:15 AM to St. Juliana Church, 7201 N. Oketo Ave, Chicago, with Mass at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Triple Negative Cancer Foundation or Wright-Way Rescue in memory of Michele K. Pizza.
