Mike was called home on January 27 after a short fight with an illness.  He was preceded in death by his loving parents Edmund and Patricia (nee McDougall), his brother Stephen (Linda) and sisters Mary Catherine D'Ercole and Jean-Anne.  He is survived by sisters Diane Beesley and Eileen, brother Robert, six nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews.  Mike enjoyed sports and participated in baseball, football and wrestling since his grade school days.  He was passionate about history and trivia with an amazing memory.  Mike also had a great sense of humor and never hesitated to tell his funny stories.  Donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Services will be private.
