Maureen C. Tralewski of Niles, beloved wife of Walter Tralewski, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2026. Born in Chicago on December 4, 1947, Maureen was the cherished daughter of the late Ross and Muriel (nee Hennessy) Breitenbach and the devoted sister of the late Karen Breitenbach. She was a dear cousin of Tim (Bobbi) Paul, the late Chris Paul, and Ted (Dawn) Paul; a treasured friend, loving aunt, and dedicated teacher to many. Maureen, affectionately known as "Mo," will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind words, half-caff coffee, and the long hugs she shared with all who were blessed to know her. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Skaja Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 10:15 AM, proceeding to Saint John Brebeuf Church for an 11:00 AM Mass.
