Margaret "Margie" Shiel, age 69 nee DeLorenzo; beloved wife of Robert Shiel; loving mother of David (Sara York) Shiel, Karena Creten, Michael (Val) Shiel and Elizabeth (Von Alanguilan) Shiel; dearest grandmother of Jack, Charlie, Bo, Delo, Maddie, and Evie; cherished daughter of Mary Jean DeLorenzo; adored sister of Dan (Kathy), Susan, David (Carol), Bob (Robin), Jeanne (Dan), Barb (Garrett), Amy (Terry), Julie and Andy;  dear sister-in-law to William (Patricia) and Barry (Jennifer); fond aunt of many and loving "mother " to all she met. Margie was the music director at St. Juliana Catholic Church for 38 years. She was a musician, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, baker, caregiver, list writer,  and hostess. She lived her life by her favorite mottoes: "Less is more", "Every day is a party" and "All will be well"
Visitation Thursday from 3 PM until 8 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Homes, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral Friday 9:15 AM going to St. Juliana Church for Mass at 10AM. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
