**In Loving Memory of Marek Matczuk** *March 27, 1963 – June 10, 2025* It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of Marek Matczuk—a devoted husband, proud father, cherished brother, and loyal friend—who passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, at the age of 62. Born in Bialystok, Poland, Marek lived a life grounded in strength, integrity, and unwavering commitment to his family. He was the son of Piotr and Leokadia and shared 32 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Renata—a relationship built on deep love and partnership. Marek was a loving father to three children and a treasured brother. His family was the center of his world, and he poured his heart into providing them with adventure, home-cooked meals, and unwavering support. He will be remembered for the joy he found in the kitchen, always cooking with love and sharing meals that brought everyone together. Marek cherished time spent with family and friends—whether hosting, sharing stories over a meal, or enjoying life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for travel and explored many parts of the world, creating lasting memories along the way. He also loved to fish, finding peace and joy in the stillness of the water and the thrill of the catch. His warmth, generosity, and love for making meaningful moments will live on in all who knew him. Marek leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and connection. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A wake will be held on Wednesday, June 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, June 26, at 11:00 AM at St. John Brebeuf Church in Niles. *Please note that due to construction, the service will take place at the Thomas May Center.
