Krystyna Greda passed away surrounded by her family on December 17, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Jan Greda, loving mother of Renata Drewno, Jarek Greda, Mariusz Greda and Łukasz Greda, cherished grandmother of Filip Greda, Angela Drewno, Marika Greda, Alex Drewno, Aleksandra Greda and Nicole Greda; and cherished great grandmother of Oliwia Greda, Gabriella Greda and Kamila Cacciatore.

Krystyna was a strong, selfless, deeply-caring person who always put her family first no matter what. The entire family often spent Sundays at "grandma's house" where they ate dinner, laughed and made memories together. One of her favorite ways to show her love was through cooking traditional Polish food for her family – there was never shortage of food and she always insisted that you eat more.

Her passion was gardening and because of her green thumb, she made flowers beautifully come to life. Thanks to her, her childhood home in Poland is surrounded by an abundance of flowers and greenery that has transformed it into a tranquil environment. Her presence will always be felt in her garden.

She will be dearly missed, but we know that she will be watching over everyone.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday December 27th, 2022 at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave in Niles, IL from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with prayer service at 7:00 PM.
