Kazimierz Jozef Panek, 93, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on August 25 at Rush University Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 24, 1932 in Warsaw, Poland, Casey lived a life of hard work and contribution to others.

Casey was a devoted father who touched the lives of many through his actions.  His family, orphans in Poland, and many acquaintances all benefited from his generosity.  He graduated from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and spent many years working as an electrical engineer.

He is survived by Krystyna Hejmo-Panek, his beloved wife of 27 years, his children Bogdan, John, Sylvia, Gregory, and Christopher, and his grandchildren, Andrew, Emma, Alex, Adrian, and Asher.  His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Visitation Thursday August 28 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave Niles.
Funeral Friday August 29 at 10:15 AM to St. John Brebeuf Church for 11:00 AM Mass Entombment Maryhill Mausoleum.

Casey will be remembered for his impish sense of humor. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
