It is with heavy hearts our angel, Kayla Yelvengton , has passed away on August 20, 2026 at the age of 26. She was born on January 11, 2000 in Evanston, Illinois.

Kayla showed strength and determination to get through many difficult times. She has taught many of those in her life how to overcome them and keep pushing forward. She was a diva at heart and feisty. Her personality shined through like no other.

Music was one of her main ways of getting through daily life. Through music she was able to express and understand emotions and we all were able to witness the love she had for it. She had a great sense of humor and knew how to test one's patience while laughing at them. Kayla has put a huge imprint to those that have come across her path.

Her spirit will continue to live on through us all.
