John A. Guerrieri, Jr. born September 15, 1942 in Chicago.  Son of the late John and Joanne  (Sholberg) Guerrieri.  Loving husband of Penny Anne (Knop) for nearly sixty years, father of Karen (Mike) Granat, Jeana (the late Glenn) Stewart, Matthew (Lucy Kim), Joy, Daniel (Jennifer) and Anthony (Diana) Guerrieri.  Proud grandfather of Charlie and Tommy Granat, Jessie, Sammy, and Maddie Guerrieri, Helena Guerrieri, Emily, Lizzy and Vicky Guerrieri. Brother of Joan (Jim) Zurek and brother-in-law of Robert Knop, Richard (Carol) Knop, the late Patricia (Peter) Boynewicz, and the late Rae (Larry) Classen.  Uncle and great uncle of many.

John was a long-standing member of the Niles and St. John Brebeuf parish communities, especially enjoying his time with scouting.  A graduate of Northwestern and Loyola Universities, John spent many years in the computer industry.  He loved crossword puzzles, well-written mysteries, and making his kids and grandkids laugh.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Brebeuf Church on Saturday May 30th at 12:00 Noon.
