Jean Sychowski (nee Imlach), age 82, of St. Charles, IL, passed away peacefully at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL on Friday, June 14, 2024. Jean was born on January 2, 1942 in Chicago, IL.
Jean is survived by her beloved family, daughter Carol Hebel (Bill) of Belvidere, IL, daughter Linda Anderson (Dave) of Northlake, IL, son Craig Sychowski (Lisa) of Mundelein, IL, daughter Marianne Evans (Mark) of Huntley, IL; grandchildren Stephanie Warren (Alvaro Licona) of Chicago, IL, Kimberly Jackson (Raymond) of Mundelein, IL, Zack Evans (Rachel) of Crystal Lake, IL, Noah Evans (Hannah) of Washington, D.C., Ryker Sychowski of Plainfield, IL; and great-grandchildren Dexter Christiano of Springfield, IL, Alexis, Addisyn and Raelyn Jackson of Mundelein, IL.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Jerome "Jerry" Sychowski, son Mark Sychowski, beloved grandson Steven Christiano and daughter-in-law Geralyn Sychowski.
Jean will be remembered fondly for her smile, warmth, quick wit, funny remarks and the love she had for her family.
Her family and friends will continue to honor her life by cherishing the wonderful memories they have shared.
Visitation will be held at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles, IL on Friday, June 21,
from 10:00am  until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery Chapel directly after funeral service.
