Eileen K. Byrne, 94, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  She embodied grace, wisdom, faith, love and compassion in everything, living her life by example. Love is what she always taught and love is what we learned.   Beloved mother of Mike (Nancy), Nancy (Dave) Coppin, Jim, Tom (Teresa), Patrick (Gina), Terry (Sally), loving grandmother to Catherine, Kevin, Matt, Annie, Katie, Kim, Sean, Danny, Krissy, Patrick, Kayla, (the late Brian), Rebecca, Bridget, Michael, Elizabeth, Melissa, Tim, Robert, loving great grandmother to Andy, Alex, Nico, Dani, Toni, Harry, Emme, Frankie, Violet, James and Miles, dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.  Eileen was preceded in death by her sisters, the late Patricia Allen and the late Gayle Kelly. Retired Chicago Public School Teacher and Catechist. Lying in state on Saturday January 11, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Juliana Church, 7201 N.
