Donna Jean Braje, age 62 of Antioch Illinois found peace on Christmas Eve, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Braje to whom she was married to for 34 years, and the loving mother of Jack Braje whom she loved more than life itself.

Donna will always be remembered as a warm hearted, caring person, known for her quick sense of humor, her laughter, her love for her family, and her love for her dogs.  Donna was a 1977 graduate of St. Juliana Grade School and a 1981 graduate of Resurrection High School.

She is remembered by her husband Robert (Bob) and her son Jack Braje, her beloved mother Mary (Manning) Bernico, her brother Richard (Rick) and his wife Mary, her brother Michael (Mike) and his wife Carita Bernico, her brother-in-law Andrew Braje and sister-in-law Barbara Braje.  She is also remembered by her nieces and nephews Iain (Carly) Bernico, Alisha Bernico, Ryan (Chelsea) Bernico, and Jackie (Mitch) Goese. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Bernico Sr. She will also be missed by the many friends she left behind.

Visitation Monday January 5, 2025 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Avenue Niles, IL 60714. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).  For more funeral info call 847-966-7302
