Obituary

Diane M Lo Bosco, age 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Condell Hospital in Libertyville on February 28th. She is the beloved daughter of the late Charles V Lo Bosco and late Anne (nee Pennino) Lo Bosco; loving sister of Francine T (Bish) Krywko; fond Aunt to Kimberly (Andrew) Lesniak, Charles (Tana) Krywko, and Scott (Bonnie) Krywko; Great Aunt to Lukas E. Lesniak, Patrick T. Krywko, Theodore T. Krywko and Josephine M. Krywko.

From an early age Diane faced the challenge of medical issues, but that did not stop her from living a happy life with her family and friends. She was a very good student in Elementary School (St. Alphonsus in Chicago) and High School (Madonna in Chicago), and known for her amazing memory of dates, directions, addresses and song lyrics.

A huge Barry Manilow fan, Diane played his songs so many times that she wore out the CDs. Some of her top picks were "Copacabana", "I Write The Songs" and "Mandy." Diane had a love for music and knew the words to every song imaginable. She enjoyed being with family and especially celebrating holidays and birthdays. Even after she became ill, Diane continued to dress up every Halloween and took the costume contest at her residential community very seriously. She won many times!  An avid food lover, she had a soft spot for Olive Garden and requested this for every birthday.

Diane was quite a character, always up to something. Her great sense of humor and infectious laugh always made your day and will be deeply missed. Despite being in pain often, she never complained; she was always tough. Much like her father, she inherited the name of "Lazarus" for the many times she was read her last rites and was sent to Hospice.  Each time she would fight and come back stronger.  This time was different; God called her, and her parents welcomed her to Heaven.

We know music and passion were always in fashion at the Copa, and we have a feeling, with Diane now there, they will be in Heaven too!
