I couldn't let my Beloved Husband cross over to his new life without telling you about him. Chuck was the strongest, toughest, kindest, most generous person I will ever know. He raised two strong, tough, kind and generous men. He brought the gifts of Love and Joy, Good Times and Good Laughs to me every day of our lives together.

The motto he lived by was written by John Bunyan: You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.

His word was his bond. He always gave his all to anyone who came to him with a problem to solve or a task that needed doing or who needed help through any crisis in their lives. I'm sure everyone who knew him has a time or many times when Chuck came to bat for them in ways both small and/or profoundly life-changing. I would ask, as a tribute to him, that you take some moments of silence to recall these times, and to know that he was your Angel on Earth when you needed him.

He loved to "share the joy" with special gifts of spontaneous generosity. His heart was "big as all outdoors," as the saying goes. He loved to laugh – and his laugh was contagious for sure. In true Irish fashion, he wouldn't want any of us to mourn his "crossing over." He would want us to remember all the fun and laughs we shared, and smile at all the good times and good memories. So, join me in celebrating Chuck, My Beloved Husband and the Greatest Person I Will Ever Know. I love him forever….
