It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Celia Drews, who left us on November 23, 2024, just shy of her 98th birthday. Celia was a beloved aunt, sister, and friend. She was known for her warm heart, sense of humor, contagious energy, and the unwavering love she offered to her family. Throughout her life, she remained deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, finding strength and guidance in her prayers and the traditions of the Church.

Born on November 28, 1926, Celia was the daughter of Mary and Ambrose Drzewiecki. Auntie C found great joy in her role as an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She took pride in watching them grow. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched.

Auntie  C's legacy is one of love, kindness, and strength.

Celia is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister and survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great-nephews, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles IL with a prayer service at 7:00pm.
