Brian Styka, age 56, beloved husband of Laura, nee Schumi; loving father of Julie and Mary Styka; dearest son of Robert and the late Eileen Styka; cherished brother of Kevin (Denise) Styka, James (Victoria) Styka, and the late Terry Styka; Fond uncle of Jonathan, Bethany, Ella, Ryan, Megan (Jordon), Cecil, and Grace; loving son-in-law of Marilyn and the late Andrew Schumi; dear brother-in-law of Michael (Kathy) Schumi, Paul Schumi, Karen (late Richard) Couture, and Stephen Schumi.

Brian was a longtime friend of the Chicago Fire Department. He was also a proud member of the Salvation Army and the Knights of Columbus.
