Beloved wife, mom and grandma

Passed away on Sep. 21, 2025

Anna ( Hania)  was born on Aug. 2 , 1945 in Lubelskie Poland. As a post war orphan at age of 5, she has endured many orphanages with her siblings before she found her home by her big sister Danuta in city of Białystok, where as a young adult she met the love of her life,  husband Leszek.

She was quiet and peaceful, and a constant example of love and patience. She loved music, cooking, baking, spending time on a lake and gardening. She enjoyed taking care of her vegetable and beautiful flower gardens. She emigrated to Chicago to be closer to her kids and future grandchildren. She continued to do the things she loved, watching sunsets over lake and listening to music. She always insisted on honesty and goodness. With her big heart Anna kept her home  always open to anyone in need.

She will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

Anna will be laid to rest in Poland at Cmentarz Miejski, Białystok

Visitation will be at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles on

Saturday,  September 27th from 9:00 AM to 11:30 am.

Mass:  12 pm at St. John Brebeuf Church

8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles .
