Anna Tourlis, age 81 of Chicago, IL. passed away peacefully on June 29th, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years; Stavros Tourlis, her loving daughter Panagiota Limperis, and her loving son Pete (Vayoula) Tourlis.

She is survived by her dearest sister Froso Boukis

She is cherished by her three grandchildren George Limperis, Stavros and Sophia Tourlis.

She was a fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Anna's boundless generosity towards her family will forever be remembered, and the ethos she instilled will remain a guiding principle for he loved ones.

Born on October 15, 1942, Anna lived most of her life in Chicago where she raised her two loving children and worked along with her husband at numerous family businesses. She demonstrated great ambition in her pursuits, particularly in her admiration for cooking and baking exquisite Greek cuisine. Her recipes will eternally remind her family of the profound love she imparted. She enjoyed being with family and friends, and was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed by many.  Her outer beauty was surpassed only by the beauty that lay within her heart.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona Street, Chicago, IL.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the same location.

With burial in Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
