Anna Wieslawa Little
July 26, 1972 - June 3, 2025
Ania Wiesława Little was born in Limanowa, Poland on July 26, 1972 to Wiesława and Mieczysław Biedroń. She is mourned by her family—John (20) and Kate (15), and her husband Piotr, whom she always said was the best caregiver and supporter in the last years of her battle with cancer—and her siblings: Ewa Gawenda, Paulina Jacak, Madga Wojs, and Marcin Biedroń.
In February 2024, Ania was diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumor (glioblastoma). She underwent multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and radiation in the following year. While in remission in summer 2024, the tumor came back with more aggression shortly thereafter. She passed away, surrounded by her family, on June 3, 2025.
She is remembered as a mother, sister, aunt, godmother, friend, and caregiver by many.
Good God did not change the rules of this world but in this game of life he sent us people who surprised us with their good hearts, generosity, kindness, care, selflessness, faith, hope, and love to the end. Isn't that what a person should be like...?
She was strong, brave, and always open to helping others. Ania was able to see the needs of others with unshakable intuition and she cared for them with such thoughtfulness that people felt safe with her, both at work in the hospital and in everyday life.
Hope never died in us, and looking at her and her suffering gave us more faith. Ania, thank you for so many kind words, hugs, moments of joy and sadness, shared prayer, and most of all for the peace that God has given you. Heaven celebrates your arrival, and I would like, although it is difficult, to exchange this emptiness and pain for the glory of God that already surrounds you or will surround you.
She will remain forever in our memory and in our hearts, with the message to live in such a way that we will meet again in Heaven. Jesus, I trust in You.
