Alice J. Sum, age 94, died peacefully on Tuesday September 24, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Edward Sum; Loving mother of her four children: Joyce (David) McArdle; Anita (Kevin) McGing; Paul (Michelle Rydz) Sum; Natalie (Amy Staska) Sum. Beloved grandmother of Amelia, Abigail, Patrick (Melissa), Neil, Maggie, Emmett and Theo and great grandmother of Finn and Laney.

Also preceded in death by her one sister, Margaret (Joe) Barnes; father, Stanley; her mother, Josephine; and her stepmother, Lillian. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, September 30, 2024 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles, IL from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. A service will be held at the funeral home at 11:30. Graveside blessing at St. Adalbert Cemetery immediately to follow.
